Designed by J&J as a family cruiser well-suited for the charter market, this 40-footer is the classic Bavaria from the turn of the millennium—a balanced hull featuring modern solutions where nothing is taken to extremes, aiming to maximize life on board and offering the ideal balance between comfort and performance. Regarding the interior volume, it is a hull often described as particularly generous for a 40-footer, featuring twin aft cabins, a forward master cabin, and a spacious saloon with either an L-shaped or linear galley. On deck, the rationality of the design is evident, with well-conceived volumes and ergonomics, a particularly clean flush coachroof, and an opening transom with a stepped stern leading to the water. To complement this, Bavaria also offered the Ocean version, optimized for long-distance cruising and configured with a center cockpit.
