Ed Dubois and Wauquiez change the rules of the game. It’s 1999 and the Pilot Saloon 43 arrives on the market. The name says it all. The duo indeed creates a ‘true’ cruiser, a boat that primarily focuses on comfortable cruising. The pilot-house becomes iconic, a raised deckhouse characteristic for its volume and windows, the latter being black and enormous. Many didn’t like it, many did.
