It is carried out directly by the Chief Surveyor of the Official Register of Classic Boats of historical value by GdV: Danilo Fabbroni, who inspects and verifies it. After evaluating the condition of the boat, he is able to compile an assessment form and certify the historical value of the vessel.
DANILO FABBRONI
Danilo Fabbroni is one of the great experts in Classic Boats. He has sailed both as a crew member and as a sailor on some of the most important racing boats of the '80s and '90s. Notable examples include: the first Brava, Yena, Pinta, and Sagittario. He has also participated in high-level regattas such as the Admiral's Cup, the One Ton Cup, the Sardinia Cup, and the Route du Rhum. Furthermore, he is a professional rigger, has been responsible for Harken's technical assistance, and has taught at the Naval Engineering Faculty of the European Institute of Design. He has written a nautical bestseller, 'Rigging'. Finally, he is a certified expert registered in the official list.
