The German shipyard specializes in dual-purpose boats, for both racing and cruising. The DB2, designed by Van De Stadt, is one of the most successful models and has in its track record the victory in the 1984 Three Quarter Tonner World Championship. The open transom is iconic, one of the first examples of this feature, which is now the dominant trend.
