In 1998, Jeanneau launched the Sun Odyssey 37, designed by Jacques Fauroux. However, in 2000, they wanted to revamp the Sun Fast line and, in collaboration with Fauroux, redesigned the 37 to offer a new hull that was more balanced and higher-performing. Thus, the Sun Fast 37 was born, with the same hull as its predecessor, featuring full bow sections and flared stern sections, but with a new keel and larger rudder. The deck was completely overhauled as well. The effort paid off, resulting in a hull that should not be underestimated.
