It’s 1980 and Philippe Briand designs the Sun Fizz for Jeanneau. Thus, a 12-meter boat with modern lines is born, looking towards a new sailing style and seeking greater volumes, replacing the previous Gin Fizz. The finishes are good, the volumes are spacious, and the hull is balanced, performing well even around buoys. It becomes hugely popular in France and soon spreads.
