CANADOS 44

Available in versions with and without a center cockpit, the Canados 44 was an early 1980s project carried out by the eponymous shipyard in collaboration with Violati Partners studio. Derived from prototypes developed for the Admiral’s Cup, it is a hull that, while not much talked about, is nonetheless high-performing, fast upwind, and boasts a wide beam and balanced overhangs. The freeboard is high, the deckhouse low and wedged into the deck, and the deck is clear, with all controls well-led back to the cockpit. In terms of quality, it was a well-regarded hull.
