At the turn of the century, Beneteau embarked on a brilliant collaboration with Bruce Farr. This partnership gave birth to many First models, including the entire F series. In the case of the First 45 F5, Farr’s design met Pininfarina’s styling, resulting in a hull that is as fast as it is pleasing to the eye. With medium displacement, a stern with a fold-down transom, and excellent upwind performance, it became a highly appreciated boat, both for its performance and its lines. The deck, semi-flush, features a long and very low coach roof, rounded, with plenty of windows to flood the splendid interiors with natural light.
