Sailboat

ORCA 43

This Dick Carter design has a great and noble history, to which he personally dedicated himself from its inception. A wooden prototype was created, from which the mold for the fiberglass Orca 43 was derived at the Sailboat shipyard, which later became the Cantiere del Pardo of Grand Soleil in 1974. One of the first four Orca 43s was purchased by Raul Gardini (of Moro di Venezia fame) who successfully competed in the Mediterranean Championship and the Middle Sea Race. Very distinctive: a very sleek bow and a completely flush deck. Unusual. It was also produced by Nautical Fiberglass
