In the mid-1990s, Farr Yacht Design created the Platu 25, a small one-design boat destined to become an ISAF Class. It is a small, open, and deeply sporty boat, designed for racing and enjoyment around the buoys. It would become a great success –albeit quietly compared to other categories– managing to remain in production for over 20 years.
