Also known as Swan 432, to distinguish it from the S 43, the Swan 43 is one of the bluewater cruisers from Pietarsaari designed by Ron Holland during his collaboration with the shipyard in the 1980s. Rigged as a masthead sloop, elegant and boasting a good righting moment, it was a highly appreciated hull in the second half of the 1980s, with a total production of 28 units. Its strengths, besides the interior volume, include the well-aft cockpit with led-back controls, protected by the extension of the classic flush Swan deck.
