It’s 1988 and the IOR begins to show its first cracks. Jeppesen proposes a boat that can better fit into the ratings, without sacrificing comfort. The X-342 is born, a 10-meter boat designed for offshore racing but also easily adaptable for cruising. Available with both fractional and masthead rigs, out of 105 units built, most were requested with fractional rigs, a clear indication of its racing attitude.
