It was the early eighties when Cantiere del Pardo introduced a GS like few others. Inverted, narrow transom, and an anvil-shaped coachroof, striped in blue. The press immediately dubbed it the “Spaghetti Swan,” partly out of affection, partly because at first glance it looked like the Finnish boats. But the Grand Soleil 39 deserved all the comparison, a small masterpiece by Jèzèquel. Isolaria is the 18th example, launched in 1984, now with its third owner since 2010.
