I.O.R. prototype strongly desired by the owner Dr. Rasini, a member of the Yacht Club Adriaco, for the Three Quarter Ton Cup of 1983, held in Trieste.
For the world championship, Rasini spared no expense and commissioned emerging Giulian companies to create a fast and innovative racing boat.
He thus entrusted the design to the young naval engineer Roberto Starkel, the laminated wood construction to master shipwrights Sergio and Nico from the Crisman and Giraldi shipyard, and the sails and race management to Olimpic Sails. These entities went on to establish themselves internationally from that point forward.
In June 1985, it was purchased by two passionate owners, Leopoldo Coen and Sergio Irredento.
Since then, the Irredento family has been lovingly taking care of it.
Still performing well, it participates with satisfaction in regattas in the Gulf of Trieste.
